Medium is a popular online publishing platform that enables users to share their thoughts, ideas, and stories with a broad audience. Users can create a free account and start publishing content immediately. The website clone of Medium that I have created is a replica of the original Medium website, but with fewer features and less customisation.
The website is built using Next.js, a popular JavaScript framework for building web applications. Next.js is built on top of React, a popular JavaScript library for building user interfaces. Next.js provides developers with a set of tools and features that make it easy to build performant, server-rendered web applications.
The backend of the website is powered by Sanity, a headless content management system (CMS). A headless CMS allows developers to build a frontend for their website using any technology they choose, while the backend provides a way to manage and store content. Sanity is a flexible and powerful tool that makes it easy to manage and organise content for your website.
The website is hosted on Vercel, a cloud platform for deploying web applications. Vercel provides developers with a simple and efficient way to deploy and scale their web applications. With Vercel, you can easily deploy your website to a global network of servers, ensuring that your website is always fast and available to users.
Overall, the Medium website clone that you have created is an excellent example of how to use modern web development technologies to build a powerful and feature-rich web application. The combination of Next.js, Sanity, and Vercel provides developers with a powerful and efficient way to build web applications that are fast, scalable, and easy to maintain.
